Position Description/Requirements

The candidate will be processing and responding (most frequently in English, but also potentially in French and/or German) to a variety of Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) customer inquiries on Dow Corning products and helping the EH&S team in some administrative tasks.

He/she will follow all established and documented workflows and will learn about regulations applicable to Chemicals in Europe and some other geographies.

He/she will also learn about main Dow Corning products and applications.

Often the customer is required by law, country regulation or internal policy to obtain information in writing from Dow Corning relating to a product the customer currently purchases or wants to purchase in the future. The position requires accuracy of documentation released to the customer in response to their inquiry.

Requirements:

– Study focus of Chemistry/ Environment/ Engineering or possible also Supply Chain Management/ Business Administration with customer-driven mindset who is interested to develop an understanding of chemistry in the context of international regulatory requirements and learn about silicone chemistry

– Good interpersonal communication in English to interact both internally and with customers

-Self-organisation, independence and self-confidence, customer-driven mindset, ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently
