What you can expect

You will takes ownership for all steps of the sales process at their customers, e.g. develops, communicates, implements and reviews a tailored Account strategy in line with BASF´s business strategy.

Plans budget targets and ensures their achievement by monitoring, forecasting and input to S&OP. Requests, steers & balances the agreed resources for the execution of heir Account strategy.

Bears responsibility for realizing optimum customer profitability.

Manages the relationship to all relevant levels and functions at the customer (mill level, headquarter) and activates all BASF functions needed striving for a long-term development. Maintains regular contact with important decision makers.

Collects, documents and shares relevant customer information.


What we expect

Educated to degree level or equivalent ideally with chemistry or chemical engineering degree, you have a minimum of 5 years experience in paper manufacturing, ideally in account management in specialty chemicals.

In addition, you have a very good skills in organizing the workload and traveling across different countries in Europe.

You are an extremely customer focused individual, with excellent communication skills and have the drive and ownership to deliver results for the business.

In addition, you are fluent in English, mother tongue (preferably German or Slovenian or Spanish) and other european language.

The customers and distributors will be located in AT/SI/HU, Spain and Portugal.
